Ms. Mariya Udovenko offers private piano lessons at her studio in Richmond, B.C.The teaching programs are based upon the famous and historically proven Russian piano teaching method, which was established by Russian pianist and pedagogue Heinrich Neuhaus.
Neuhaus was a professor of the Moscow Conservatory, one of the most respected pianists and pedagogues of the 20th century, and the teacher of many great pianists, including Yakov Zak, Sviatoslav Richter, and Emil Gilels.
Under the guidance of Ms. Mariya Udovenko, students make remarkably rapid progress to become successful piano performers. Ms. Udovenko’s pedagogical approach enhances students’ motivation, self-esteem, and enjoyment in learning to play the piano.
Mariya’s piano lessons cater to everyone, ranging from beginners to more advanced pianists, and classes are available for anyone above the age of four. A trial piano lesson is offered to allow the student to meet Ms. Udovenko. Advanced students will have the opportunity to take their lessons on a concert-quality European Bösendorfer Grand Piano.
Mariya’s students achieve the highest grades in RCM examinations, as well as in local and international competitions. All of her students are provided with multiple performance opportunities.
